About Me

Marina Kaminetskaya, Ph.D.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 29179) who specializes in neuropsychology. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology, from the APA-accredited Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto University. I went on to complete a two-year fellowship in Neuropsychology at Kaiser Permanente, Roseville. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in diverse clinical settings, including medical centers, a VA hospital, a maximum-security forensic psychiatric hospital, chronic pain clinic, and now private practice. My education and training have allowed me to develop expertise in working with individuals suffering from numerous conditions including but not limited to:

  • ADHD
  • Epilepsy
  • Mood/Psychiatric Disorders
  • Movement Disorders
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Neurodegenerative Disorders
  • Stroke
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Cancer
  • Anoxia

I approach each case and person I work with on an individualized basis and include each person as participant in their evaluation, treatment, or consultation. Grounded in evidence-based methodologies, my practice relies on robust clinical evidence to guide interventions tailored specifically to meet the unique needs of every individual. My goal is to help each person live a full life, employing therapeutic interventions, educational guidance, professional consultation, and comprehensive insights from neuropsychological evaluations.
